Pisa is well known for the Leaning Tower which was built beginning in the 12th century. It started sinking into the ground after the completion of 3 stories. It remained this way for ninety years. The construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and was ultimately completed by the son of Andreo Pisano, Giovanni di Simone and Tommano Simone nearly two centuries after it was started.
